Privacy Policy

Watchtower GG is currently an invitation-only beta. We collect only the information needed to authenticate accounts, control beta access, deliver software, protect the service, and improve reliability.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your verified email address, provider account identifier, and basic profile name. We also retain invitation attribution, login and session records, registered installation identifiers stored as one-way hashes, software version, download history, and security/audit events.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, enforce invitation and account status, provide protected downloads, activate Watchtower installations, deliver updates, investigate abuse, and support the beta. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and security

Account data is stored in a dedicated Watchtower GG database. Referral codes, session tokens, and device fingerprints are stored using one-way hashes where practical. Access is restricted and the database is not exposed directly to the public internet.

Third parties

Google and Microsoft process authentication under their own privacy policies. Cloudflare provides DNS, security, and website delivery. Additional payment providers may be added in a later release and will be disclosed before billing is enabled.

Retention and choices

We retain beta account and security records while the account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, legal, and operational purposes. You may request access, correction, or deletion through the Watchtower GG support page. Some security records may be retained where legally permitted.

Children

Watchtower GG is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the beta develops. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
